Cinder shall save us all by bshadow93 Cinder shall save us all by bshadow93
Omg. idk if it is because i am getting old or something, but the Warriors series is really starting to tick me off. I honestly think the only reason the Erin's brought Cinderpelt back was to give Thunderclan at least one cat who still had a smidgen of personality and common sense left. Dustpelt, Sandstorm, Graystripe, and Mousfur still have as bit of bite left in them, but they Erin's almost NEVER show them because they are too old, but the young cats suck! i loved Lionblaze and Jayfeather in the Power of Three, but if they complain about being half clan one more time, i am going to throw my book across the room. Seriously, half the cats in Thunderclan are half clan if clan at all! gah, they need to get over themselves. grrr... cough.... AAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNYYYYYYWWWWWWWAAAAAY YYY............ Cinderheart is the only cat left with any sense in her and i love her and this incredibly lazy pic is dedicated to her.

colored pencil and pen

Cinderheart and Cinderpelt belong to Erin Hunter, Warriors

It pisses me off as well how Jay and Lion just sit around COMPLAINING about being halfclan! they need to get over it, it can't be changed! besides, the only one who gives a whisker about it is Breezepelt :/

Anyways, can i use this pic for a video?

Thank you. Preach. Amen. Praise the Lord. I'm so sick of Jayfeather and Lionblaze being so overcome with disgust for Squirrelflight and everyone around them and feeling like they're being judged by everyone. HALF OF THUNDERCLAN ISN'T EVEN THUNDERCLAN. >.<

i agree, the thunderclan cats are getting old and we need cats from new clans. i think they portray thunderclan as WWAAYYY too good and are idolized way too much. shadowclan is portrayed as too bad also, they need to see the light in shadowclan's dark.

I know, I'm like "SHUT THE HELL UP! YOUR HALF-CLAN BIG WHOOP!"

Cinderheart does seem to be the only one with common sense left...

I have to agree too... though the main reason I found the the later series lacking is because of the author's insistence of only using Thunderclan cats as main characters. >_< That made it a bit too cliche for my tastes after a while.

Would it kill them to have the stories take place in another Clan?!? Plus I would like to see how the other Clans see Thunderclan. Surely that Clan has some faults too... though you wouldn't think so by how "morally correct" the authors make them out to be all the time.

I love Cinderheart and most of her littermates too... as well as their parents. ^^ Honeyfern annoys me, but because Poppyfrost and Molepaw were never given personalities, I can come up with my own for them. :)

I guess I like the ideas behind each book and the characters in theory better than the excution at this point. It's too bad that the series is suffering that much. The Guardian series never decreased that much in quality... not even in the books that dealt with history of the owls' world rather than their current events.

You know what really did me in? Reading "The Cats of the Clans." I was hoping for a neutral book that included family trees for most of the cats in the series and information on the lesser known characters. What I got was more "Thunderclan = good" nonesense in addition to major mistakes when summarizing some of the series. Rock (the narrator) even called Thunderclan "the clan of heroes." I'm sure the other clans have their heroes too. ;) He didn't even have anything nice to say about Riverclan despit claiming to support no Clan. Coulda fooled me. At least the pictures in the book were beautiful! :)

haha! wow!
i always thought Thunderclan's weakness was its strength. It is too 'good', just as Riverclan is too proud, Shadowclan is too aggressive, and Windclan is too peace loving.
Cats of the Clans disapointed me a bit too.... i pretty much skipped ahead to Blackstar, Sandstorm, Firestar, and Yellowfang and then stopped reading :D the pics were beautiful, though!

Except being too good (or too aggressive, etc.) is all in perspective. I'm sure the other Clans don't see Thunderclan as too good; they probably see them as annoying cats who THINK they have the moral authority to get involved in other cats' affairs and take charge.

I doubt Thunderclan sees Windclan as peace-loving anymore! =P

Maybe I shouldn't have read that book at all. Then I could just praise its pictures... though I was disappointed that they messed up Silverstream's colours. Silver tabbies don't look like that. She looked more like a blue tabby. ^^ It was still a nice picture though. ;)

but see, that is how Thunderclan is too 'good'. They always do what they think is right which ticks the other clans off :D and is therefore their flaw!

i think Bluestar's pic was the best :D

But what if their intentions are flawed? Look at a real-life example. Americans thought Iraq was more of a threat than it was and invaded that country. Although our intentions may have been well-meaning to some extent, that country is a real mess now and inoccent people are getting hurt. Naturally other nations don't look at us too favourably and say we're meddling in other countries' affairs. (sadly when we don't get involved in such affairs, we still get criticized!!)

What if something like that happened with Thunderclan? I wouldn't think Thunderclan would be considered 'good' then.

And don't say it won't ever happen-- no one is right all the time. I wish the authors went in that direction to show that no one is perfect, not even Thunderclan. I think they did a few times now that I think about it, but they wrote it off, like it was no big deal! Like when Thunderclan raided Windclan's herbs during an epidemic in that Clan in "Bluestar's Prophency." How is it okay to do that?

Sometimes I think Thunderclan is the Clan with too much pride.

I liked the picture of Smudge and Princess a lot; their expressions were just so cute. :) I think Feathertail's picture was the best though. :D

....that is what i am trying to say.. that thier 'good' is thier flaw... cause though they think it is right, it isn't always good.

Yeah but the authors ALWAYS make them right (and therefore good) in the end. I wish they didn't because it maks the series pretty one-sided.

I don't think 'good' is the best word to decribe this trait of theirs either... =P

self-righteous? and they aren't always portrayed as doing good >.> if you have read the most recent books, none of the other clans like them..

I have to agree. Warriors has begun to SUCK. The first and second series are easily the best. Just wait till all the cats that aren't messed up die. Then the series will have to be burned. :evillaugh:

THe first is where it ends for me. The second was good, but nothing compared to the first series, i just had too many lion king flashbacks XD haha! and once Sandstorm dies, i will probably be torching my books! haha!

ANOTHER thing we agree on! xD

The Erins seem to be so worried about throwing these books out so fast, they're sacrificing character depth and plot for their cash-cow series. PHHHST.

Great picture, though! :D
